Taylor started working at the store as a young boy at the Adams Lumber original location on Neosho St. in Council Grove. Over the years of growing up at the store, he has worn every hat from sweeping the yard to designing homes! Taylor graduated in 2009 from Emporia State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business, with a major in Marketing. Following in his father’s footsteps he has a passion for design-build and continues to help clients reach their building goals. Taylor is known for his hard work ethic, humor, and witty jokes. He spends his time outside of work with his wife Molly and two dogs Gus and Ruth. He enjoys metal fabrication both for client jobs and doing his own personal projects in his free time.
Faron Adams

Faron started his early days off at the original store location in 1985. Faron is a huge piece of what makes our machine run and there’s no doubt he’s a hard worker! He’s a very skilled carpenter and can build just about anything out of wood or steel. Over the years he has fabricated many custom projects and his quality work can be seen on all of our past jobs. Faron graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business, with a major in Marketing. Faron has the patience it takes to train the trade. He has worked with all personalities and has the stories to prove it. He’s been known to bring his kids to the job site and teach them his skills. Faron has two kids with his wife Shelby and he enjoys outdoor activities and knows how to have fun after work.
Nathan McDiffett
Asst Crew Foreman
Nathan joined our team in October of 2018, bringing much skill and experience to our construction crew. After high school Nathan attended Manhattan Area Technical College and received his Associate of Applied Science Degree in the HVAC curriculum. He worked in the Manhattan, KS area for over a decade specializing in framing new construction homes.
His meticulous manner and high expectations shows in his craftsmanship.
Nathan loves the outdoors and has many stories to share of his hunting and fishing trips. Nathan is married to Annie Adams McDiffett and along with their daughter Stevie welcomed a second daughter, Rori McDiffett, in the Spring of 2021.
